Hi there!

My name is Ross Fernandez and I’m a SoCal-based storyboard/visual development artist and painter. I just finished my last year at CalState Fullerton with a BFA in Entertainment Art/Animation.

I have a passion for storytelling through comics, paintings, and storyboards, and I believe that the most powerful works are the ones that tell a lot with so little. With animation, I want to create characters that feel alive and real – characters with personal struggles that connect to people like me. Growing up Filipino-American, transgender, and neurodivergent, I have more than enough experience as an “oddball,” and I hope that by sharing my stories, I’ll inspire someone else to do the same.

When I’m not drawing or painting, I’m usually experimenting with recipes, gardening, or taking care of my 500 kids(the worms in my compost bucket).
